Audi TT Launches as Instagram’s First Automotive Ad Partner in Australia
In 2014, Audi Australia was among the very first brands globally—and the only luxury automotive brand in Australia—to be selected for the launch of Instagram Advertising. This groundbreaking opportunity marked Australia as the third country in the world to roll out Instagram ads, following the US and UK. Audi's inclusion underscored its position as a leader in innovation and progressive marketing.

The Solution
We crafted a bold, visually-driven campaign to position the Audi TT as a halo product on Instagram’s emerging advertising platform. Collaborating with acclaimed photographer Luke Shadbolt, we created cinematic photographs and cinemagraphs that showcased the TT’s cutting-edge design and technological sophistication in a futuristic and immersive way.
Captured at iconic NSW locations like Bondi Beach, Sydney Harbour, and the Parkes Dish, the campaign combined artistic photography with stunning landscapes to highlight Audi’s progressive design while engaging Instagram’s audience.
The Brief
Audi Australia challenged us to leverage their unique position as a launch partner for Instagram Advertising to create a bold and innovative campaign for the launch of the new Audi TT.
The objective was to craft a visually striking and engaging campaign that aligned with Audi’s brand pillars of innovation and progressive design. Audi wanted to captivate Instagram’s audience, drive excitement around the TT’s arrival in Australia, and position the brand as a pioneer in luxury automotive advertising on this emerging platform.







My Role
Collaborated with Luke Shadbolt to bring a fresh, artistic perspective to automotive advertising.
Produced storyboards, shot lists, and moodboards to guide the campaign’s aesthetic.
Directed shoots at iconic NSW locations to amplify the Audi TT’s design and innovation.
Led the execution of Audi’s first Instagram ad campaign, cementing the brand as a pioneer in luxury automotive marketing.
This campaign positioned Audi as a leader in digital innovation and set a new standard for creative excellence.
